What Is Oleo-Limestone Liniment?
The oleo-limestone liniment is a body product. It is a cleansing cream, a massage cream, a moisturizing cream, a no-rinse oily soap and the perfect product for cleaning baby’s bottom (among others!).
Lime water and olive oil are blended to create an ointment for treating skin conditions. This product is a pale yellow color and is made from natural ingredients. It has been used for centuries according to an ancestral recipe.
The traditional formula was used to treat skin burns, but nowadays it is mainly used for babies’ bottoms. It cleans and moisturizes delicate skin. It is easy to use and very good for the environment!
No-rinse, this olive oil-based lotion allows you to clean your baby without water. It has an oily texture, so it easily removes stool residue from the skin. Thanks to its alkaline pH, the liniment neutralizes effectively the acidity of urine.
It helps soothe baby’s delicate or dry skin. It is very useful for soothing irritations and preventing the dreaded diaper rash. Olive oil also leaves a thin protective film on the skin.
Some liniment formulas contain shea butter, walnut oil or coconut oil, but Pravi has chosen to use organic olive oil and lime water for skin benefits, and calendula extract to prevent inflammation.

Description
Shake the bottle of oleo-calcareous ointment to even out the product. At each diaper change, clean the baby’s seat with a washcloth and a little oleo-calcareous liniment. Without rinsing. To supplement hydration, use mum and baby oil while getting out of the bath.
Note: Before first use, test in the crease of the elbow.

Lime Water* :
Filtered solution of water and calcium hydroxide. Its basic pH counterbalances the acidic pH of stool and urine.
Olea europaea fruit oil* / Olive Oil* :
Extracted from cold pressed olive pulp, this oil is rich in vitamins A, D, E and K. We use it mainly for its protective, softening and moisturizing properties.
Calendula officinalis* / Calendula* :
These pretty orange flowers have been macerated in organic olive oil to extract their healing, anti-inflammatory and soothing properties.
Euphorbia cerifera wax :
Plant wax obtained from the leaves of the Euphorbia cerifera shrub. The wax stabilizes the emulsion so that you do not need to shake the liniment regularly.
Tocopherol / Vitamin E :
A natural preservative derived from sunflower, this antioxidant is added to cosmetics to prevent the rancidity of vegetable oils and butters and thus extend the shelf life of natural cosmetics. Its antioxidant properties play an active role in reducing the harmful effects of free radicals.
Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil* :
Healing, soothing, cell regenerating and anti-inflammatory, lavender oil is recommended for all skin types. It is found in many of our skin care products for its many properties and its sweet floral scent.
